If your Google Ads tracking is incomplete or inaccurate, it becomes much harder to tell which clicks and campaigns are actually producing useful results.
I help businesses and PPC teams set up, audit and fix Google Ads conversion tracking so the platform receives the right signals and your reporting reflects what is really happening on the website.
I don’t manage campaigns, bidding or ad creative. My role is to make sure the tracking and measurement underneath those campaigns is set up properly.
Dave has helped support us across a number of clients implementing technical SEO and GA4 features. We've worked together to help support our PPC strategy on clients, and the service from him has been first class. Very knowledgeable, good communication and always going above and beyond to implement solutions for our clients. Would highly recommend.

Google Ads works best when it is fed reliable conversion data.
That means more than simply installing a tag.
I look at how conversions are defined, how events are triggered, whether duplicate or missing conversions exist, how GA4 and Google Ads are connected and whether consent settings are affecting what gets recorded.
The aim is to make sure the platform receives useful, accurate signals that reflect the actions that matter to your business.
I can work directly with your PPC specialist, agency or internal marketing team so the tracking supports the way campaigns are actually being managed.
I can help with the following areas of Google Ads tracking and measurement:
I can set up, audit and repair Google Ads conversion actions so important enquiries, purchases and other valuable actions are recorded correctly.
This can include:
I can review how GA4 and Google Ads are linked and make sure the relationship between analytics events and ad conversions is clear and intentional.
That includes checking whether conversions are being imported correctly and whether the same action is being counted more than once.
Where appropriate, I can configure enhanced conversions to improve the quality of conversion measurement using first-party data.
I can also check whether the implementation is working as expected and whether the relevant consent requirements are being respected.
Where Google Tag Manager is used, I can configure and troubleshoot the tags, triggers and variables needed for Google Ads conversion tracking.
I can also identify legacy, duplicated or incorrectly configured tags that may be affecting the data.
Consent can affect what Google Ads and GA4 are able to collect.
I can review the technical setup around Google Consent Mode, cookie choices and tag behaviour so your conversion tracking works properly within the consent framework you are using.
Where it makes sense, I can help assess or implement server-side tracking as part of a wider measurement setup.
This is not necessary for every business, but it can be useful where the existing client-side setup is limiting data quality or control.
I can also help bring Google Ads, GA4 and other marketing data into Looker Studio so conversion and campaign performance is easier to monitor in one place.
I do not manage Google Ads campaigns, bidding strategies or ad creative.
Instead, I work alongside PPC specialists, digital agencies and in-house marketing teams as the tracking and measurement specialist, making sure the data underneath the campaigns is reliable.
Your PPC team can continue to focus on campaign strategy and optimisation while I take care of the technical tracking setup, troubleshooting and measurement requirements behind it.
If you need broader support across an internal team, you can also find out more about how I work with in-house teams.
Accurate ad tracking isn't just about CPA - it connects to your site, your analytics, and your wider marketing. Whether as part of a full tracking audit, ongoing campaign support, or after fixing your GA4 setup, I'll make sure your ads are working off the right numbers.
Once the tracking is working properly, I can help keep it that way.

This will usually include access to Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Depending on the setup, I may also need access to your consent platform, website CMS, ecommerce platform or other systems involved in generating or recording conversions.
The cost depends on the complexity of the website, the number of conversion actions involved and how much investigation or implementation is required. A focused tracking fix will usually require less work than a wider setup involving GA4, consent, ecommerce or multiple advertising platforms. I will agree the scope and cost before any work begins.
